The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet - David Mitchell, Paula Wilcox, Jonathan Aris I'm sorry for all the fans of Mitchell, but I didn't like this book at all. I don't know if this was because of the format (audiobook of Audible.com) or the story, but I wasn't interested at all, not in the story and not in the characters. I did find the writing beautiful (that's why I gave it 3 stars in stead of 2).
This was the first book by Mitchell that I read, and I had high hopes for it. Perhaps I will try another one, but I am not sure about that, because I feel rather disappointed.
