The first time I read this book, many years ago, I was wildly enthusiastic about it. I kept telling all my friends they should read it. Now I read it again, and I think I love it even more (if that is possible). Irving describes things that you know can not be true in such a way that you actually begin thinking there is a slight chance they might have happened. I love his descriptions of events and his way of telling a story. I just love everything about this book.
I am sure I will reread A Prayer for Owen Meany again in a couple of years.
