The Time Machine - H.G. Wells, Félix J. Palma Although I am not saying this is now a favourite novella of mine, I definitely think that everyone who is interested in dystopia should read it (it is only 92 pages). Wells is called after all "The father of science-fiction".
He tells about another world, a world in a far off future that looks idyllic at first glance, but that in fact is disintegrating.
